Holidays NYC Photos

Columbus Circle Charm

I know I’m a little late on doing a holidays in NYC roundup this year, but fortunately, everyone still has their holiday decorations up, so I’ve been getting my fill the past few days. I must admit that the novelty factor has really worn off, as everyone seems to do the exact same decorations every year, so this this time around I’m featuring some new things. I was particularly taken by these illuminated dancing snow flakes at the Time Warner Center, home to the Shops at Columbus Circle. Each season, its grand entryway is adorned with these large, three dimensional snowflakes that illuminate in every color of the rainbow and “dance” to traditional holiday tunes, changing color in tune with the music. They’re cute, but not entirely photogenic, or so I thought. Anyways, check out the pictures below:

From the Ground Floor (I love the reflections in the glass)
From the Balcony

And a picture from outside the Time Warner Center. Who knew a Subway globe could be so picturesque?
