Say What?? Travel Photo: Numb Biscuits!

Lijiang Roof

Behold, the striking beauty that is the tourist hot spot of Lijiang, one of China’s UNESCO World Heritage for its stunningly preserved old town, pictured above.

But with many a tourist comes many a store. And of course, almost all of those stores sell the same products, so, like any tourist destination, competition for names is fierce, as we’ve sene many a time before in Say What??, my series of amusing signage from around the world.

Alas, thesse unique names don’t necessarily translate all that well. Like, say, this place:

"Grow Numb Biscuits"

With a name like this, would you buy biscuits from this place??

Say What?? is a weekly series featuring numerous hilarious signs from my travels. Check back
every Tuesday for updates! Or better yet, subscribe to my RSS feed to receive them automatically!

Definitely! I can think of many occasions when being numb would have been a bonus, and no I am not going to tell you any, well maybe over a Guinness or red wine sometime 😉

Hahaha! Yeah growing biscuits aren’t really up my alley either (love your interpretation!). Let’s make sure we don’t do a biscuit crawl just to be safe…
