Say What?? Travel Photo: Bike Rental

It’s not so often that one spots a translated sign that is a complete and utter failure in every possible way. I mean, sometimes it’s a grammatical problem; others, it’s a nonsensical problem. But in this case, it makes perfect sense! It’s just spelled wrong….very, very wrong!

“Bick.” “Bike.” Same, same, right?

Say What?? is a weekly series featuring numerous hilarious signs from my travels. Check back every Sunday for updates! Or better yet, subscribe to my RSS feed to receive them automatically!

Same, same for sure. I’ve seen turquoise blue water (redundant phrasing to begin with) spelled out in a tour company brochure as turkeys blue and crispy spring rolls listed as crospy spring rolls. Down to a lack of proof reading I guess.

Still fun and you ended up with a great photo with this one.

Ah the joys of mangled English. Sadly, the fact that English so complicated really doesn’t help the situation! Love the “crospy” spring rolls!
