Say What?? Travel Photo: Title
Bangkok is a city of many food courts. But it’s not quite the type of food court you like to think of. You see, the Thai version of a food court involves booths that only make one or two unique items. Often times, these will have a central cashier somewhere. That’s not to say that the traditional American view of a food court does not ever apply? The highly touristy Suan Lum Night Bazaar, which I also featured on this series on Wednesday, is like this, featuring a bunch of options to suit all palates.

But, as Wednesday’s image showed you, highly touristy does not necessarily equal proper English. In the very same food court, I spotted a sign that wasn’t so much nonsensical, but made me laugh due to sheer absurdity of it all. Please direct your attention to the little English sign on the left:
I don’t know if “Title” is supposed to be the name of the eating establishment here or just a placeholder for the name. Maybe the intention was to put a title where it says “Title” but they neglected to do that? I mean, “Title” is so prominently displayed! Or maybe they’re just incredibly misinformed as to what the word “Title” means…
