MoMA: New City Exhibit

In the video I posted yesterday, you saw a little clip of the New City video exhibit at MoMA. As promised in the clip, here is the video in its entirety. It’s a bit shaky because it was so big that my camera could only capture a little bit at a time. You can’t really see, but people were lying on the floor to see the film as it virtually enveloped them (a dome that was missing 2 walls). It was pretty interesting though.

On a side note, today I had to go for my allergy shots and took the M86 (that’s the 86th St. Cross-Town Bus; the M is for Manhattan) bus to get there. As I came above ground from the Subway, a very very different looking bus was at the stop but it had the MTA logo on it and said M86 so I boarded. I believe it was a new style of European bus that the MTA was testing. It was very fancy and rather futuristic looking! The best part, were the people walking down the street who would stop and stare in wonder at what this futuristic bus could possibly be doing on our streets!

When I'm not blissfully on the road, I reside in New York City, where I become the ultimate travel junkie and spend my days dreaming up my next great adventure! Read More...
